To source piano-key shower sets, compare the outlet controls, temperature-control function, display, installation and supplied components separately. “Piano-key” describes the control format; it is not a complete technical specification. Build the enquiry around an exact model and configuration before comparing sample or wholesale prices.
What does a piano-key specification need to explain?
A useful specification should identify what each key operates, how hot and cold water are mixed, and what is included in the package. Our TZ-HM record, for example, identifies four mechanical outlet keys and a manual mixing handle. Its outlets are the overhead shower, hand shower, spray gun and lower spout.P01
That tells a buyer more than a general description such as “smart four-function shower.” It does not establish that every outlet can run together, nor does it establish automatic temperature regulation. Keep those as separate questions unless they are documented for the selected model.
Compare product directions before selecting colours
| Product direction | Confirmed example | What should remain separate |
|---|---|---|
| Mechanical piano-key controls | TZ-HM has four outlet keys and manual mixing | Material conflicts must not become an “all-brass” claim |
| Temperature-display version | TZ-XM lists a water-powered °C display | A displayed temperature is not a thermostat test |
| Display with ambient lighting | TZ-L lists a °C display and blue light strip | Its reviewed record does not establish the power source |
These examples are taken from the individual product records, not from a universal definition of piano-key showers.P01P03P02
Start with the function your customers need. A buyer who wants visible water-temperature information has a different brief from a buyer who requires a documented automatic compensating valve. Do not make the selection only by comparing the number of buttons or lights.
Match the installation before approving a sample
For TZ-XM, the recorded inlet-centre adjustment is 140–160 mm. The same product record gives a 300 mm overhead width and a 1.5 m shower hose. TZ-HM and TZ-L instead list a 135–155 mm inlet-centre adjustment with the illustrated eccentric connectors.P03P01P02
These are product-specific dimensions, not permission to install any of the models in every bathroom. Give the proposed product drawing to the installation reviewer and establish the actual water-connection arrangement, available space and thread designation. A centre-distance range alone does not establish thread compatibility or the suitability of the supply system.
The buyer's sample should represent the intended order configuration. Approving one colour with one set of accessories does not automatically approve different components later placed under the same family name.
Define the selling unit in writing
For a complete shower set, write down the mixer, overhead shower, hand shower, riser, holders, hoses and any spray-gun components. Separate the installation fittings from the main assembly, and distinguish included items from optional accessories.
A practical enquiry line reads: “TZ-XM, matte black configuration, intended quantity to discuss, including the documented four-outlet assembly and its listed components.” Add the destination and the particular installation or packaging questions that affect the order. This keeps the request specific without demanding that a new buyer already know every engineering detail.
Use photographs to support that line. A close-up of the mixer is useful for control design, but it cannot confirm every item packed with the set. An alternative-colour photo is not proof that the alternative colour carries identical accessories.
Ask for a quotation with the decisions still visible
Our recommended quote brief separates the selected configuration from optional changes. Ask for one base offer and, when useful, a separately identified option for a logo, packaging or other requested modification. That makes the effect of the change visible instead of hiding it inside one unqualified unit price.
Confirm the order-specific minimum quantity, sample preparation and production timing. Do not use another manufacturer's advertised MOQ as a rule for the entire category, and do not assume a domestic retail listing's shipping promise applies to an export order.
For timing, request the start condition as well as the duration. A production estimate that starts after finish and packaging approval is not the same commitment as a shipping date calculated from the first enquiry.
Approve the sample against the intended purchase
Use the sample to compare the actual buttons, outlet sequence, dimensions, accessories and finish against the agreed record. Have functional and installation checks performed under appropriate conditions by qualified personnel. Record unresolved questions rather than treating a short demonstration as a full performance or safety certification.
Keep the approved configuration identifier, dated photographs, parts list and any agreed changes together. That becomes the reference for the quotation, packing list and repeat order. The objective is not simply to say the sample looked good; it is to know exactly which product has been approved.
Questions buyers ask
Does a temperature display mean the shower is thermostatic?
No. In the reviewed TZ-XM record, the display is water-powered and temperature adjustment is manual. Automatic compensating valves have a separate performance scope; a display or button layout alone does not demonstrate it.P03T01
Can the same model name cover different options?
Yes in this catalogue: the model must be read together with its catalogue reference and configuration. Use those identifiers in the enquiry rather than relying on the family name alone.
What should I send first?
Send the model or reference image, destination and intended quantity when known. Then explain the function or installation requirement that matters most.
Browse piano-key and display shower sets, then discuss a wholesale quotation or sample.
